Play will mean different things to different people. Play can happen inside at home, in the backyard or out in nature. Did you know less than half of Australian kids play outside regularly? Common concerns among parents include weather conditions and taking risks, but navigating these create important learning opportunities for our kids. Look for ways to make play part of each and every day.

SKYE

For me, play means using your imagination to bring toys to life, thinking creatively to have fun with your toys by yourself or with your friends. I think playing is important as a tween because it inspires you and helps keep the little kid inside happy and alive. Play as a tween helps you use your creativity and imagination on a daily basis founding lifelong beneficial traits.

Playing with toys is important to kids and tweens because they keep us occupied. They let us have fun and use our imagination. Toys are all different shapes and sizes which makes them interesting. They are perfect for kids because vou can chande the way vou play with them everytime and when you are with other kids they have other ideas for ways to play. It lets us be creative!

AGE 10

I think play is an important everyday thing because it can help kids with their imagination. It's something you can do socially with friends, whether it's online or playing a board game, it's something that you and a friend could do for hours. Playing is a good thing to entertain kids and sometimes their parents could play with them, so it's a good thing that can bring the family together.
